Ingredients
  

  • 1 deep-dish pie crust
  • 1 stick salted butter, room temperature (do not melt)
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 3 tbsp flour
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 3 eggs

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F.
  2. Mix all ingredients until smooth.
  3. Pour filling into prepared pie crust.
  4. Bake 45–55 minutes until the top is golden and center is set.
  5. Allow pie to cool completely before slicing.

Notes

A slight jiggle in the center is normal.
Let cool fully before slicing.
Use room-temperature butter for the best texture.

  • Refrigerate for up to 4 days.
  • Freeze slices for up to 2 months.
  • Serve chilled or room temperature.
