Momma is Making a Comeback
Momma is making a comeback, why you ask? 2020 was a wild and amazing year for my family! When the year started, I had a four month old baby and work was pouring in like crazy, which I am so thankful to God for blessing me with my beautiful son and blessing my business so greatly. In 2020 I struggled so hard to find balance between my family and work goals, my personal goals took a backseat. Then Covid hit making things even crazier, during this time we sold our home, moved into our travel trailer, and built a new home, (check back for a post on both of those things down the road)!
Transitioning
Transitioning from one child to two has been such a huge change in my life. I used to hit the gym after dropping my oldest off at school, so I would get in 5-6 days a week. In the beginning I tried going with Blaze, but if he started crying it would completely throw off my focus and I worried that he was bothering other people working out. So my workouts would be soo sporadic and I never got back into the groove of my normal workout schedule. I even tried walking outside, but the weather in Texas is so unpredictable, one day it’s 110, the next day it’s perfect weather, and then bam -17 with snow and ice. 🤣
Settling in and Ready for that Comeback
Now that we are settled into our new home, we have an in home gym so I can get back into the swing of things and smash all of my goals. I have 30lbs of baby weight to shed, but I’m really wanting to drop 50 (if I put it out in the universe, it has to happen right?)! The best part of the in home gym is that Blake and I can workout together and help each other towards our goals! ♥️💪🏼 I’m going to put a new workout routine up at least twice a month, but will try for weekly. So Momma is making a comeback, I’m going to make time for myself in 2021 to focus on all the things that make me happy, like working out regularly, putting time in on my blog, generating new business (I truly love what I do), and the most important thing in my life spending quality time with my family.
Throwback Workout
Here is a throwback beginner treadmill workout I created a couple years ago that I will be implementing to get me back on track. Let me know if you’re interested in cardio, weight training, or a combination of both.
