It’s a wedding, we are getting married!! – Life Update

Yep you read that right we are getting married!!

Work Update

I’ve been a very busy girl since my last post, I have closed 3 transactions. I’m so thankful to God for blessing me with work! I’m thankful to each and every person who has supported me by sharing my Facebook posts, and telling their friends and family about me, I love you all! ❤️ If you or anyone you know is looking for an amazing Realtor, not to toot my own horn, but I’m your girl!

Switching gears – We are getting married!

The most exciting news, Blake liked it so much he put a ring on it, and we’re going to the chapel and we’re gonna get married!! Okay, not really a chapel but we are getting married and in 33 days… eekk I’m so excited. We love each other and cannot wait to make it official. Wedding checklist items that have been ticked off date ✔️ venue ✔️ wedding dress ✔️ photographer ✔️ dj ✔️ cakes, ✔️ nothing left but a few minor details and to do it. I’m so excited about the wedding, but it honestly cannot get here soon enough because I‘m a worrier by nature and I don’t like stressing over the small things. Blake’s family and friends are in Georgia but his parents and aunt are going to come down and spend 5 days with us, we are so thrilled! We are going to have a romantic outdoor ceremony at sunset (which will more than likely include sweating because it’s August in Texas and it’s hot as balls out), but having it at sunset should make it more tolerable. Since we are having it so late we decided against have a sit down dinner and opted to do finger foods, chips dips, and appetizers. My wedding cake is coming from my absolute favorite place ever Bittersweet Bakery, the top tier is going to be raspberry champagne and the bottom tier is going to be my favorite lemon cake with lemon curd filling. I also ordered 4 dozen mini red velvet and 4 dozen mini vanilla sugar cupcakes. I’m so excited about the cake, and yes I’m going to be hitting the gym as soon as I publish this post! Blake’s cake is going to be a butter cake with chocolate icing, I ordered from a football mom from our team last year, it’s going to be a Georgia Bulldogs cake, because in this house we always say, “GO DAWGS”! I will post pictures of everything from the wedding after it’s over, so stay tuned. Beyond any of the details, I’m most excited to be Blake’s wife, he was made for me and there is no one else I would rather spend the rest of my life with. The way he loves B and I has completely changed my life. I could go on about Blake for days, but I don’t want to bore you guys. 

First Family Vacation – Familymoon ❤️

We are going to make our first family vacation our familymoon. so lookout Florida The Cooks are coming to town. We are so ecstatic about vacation, we have been waiting all summer for vacation. We are going to drive into New Orleans on the first day of vacation and do a swamp tour and I’m going to get beignets from Café du Monde this time. Last time Blake and I went to New Orleans we didn’t do much except Bourbon Street we were only there for one full day, because it was the halfway point between Texas and Florida and we just wanted to see each other. I know I won’t get to do everything I want to this time either, so we will have to take a couples trip down the road so we can really explore everything New Orleans has to offer. The next day we will make the last leg of our journey to Panama City Beach for some fun in the sun! I will update you on what we do, see, and eat on vacation, so be on the lookout for a post about that as well.
