Lauren’s Famous Chocolate Chip Fudge Brownies
This past weekend I had a booth at the Ferris Softball Tournament Fundraiser. I ran a contest and gave away my Famous Chocolate Chip Fudge Brownies. My Famous Chocolate Chip Fudge Brownies are a crowd pleaser. I have been working hard to get my Real Estate career up and running. The main thing you have to do is get your name out there, so I thought I would win them over with my famous brownie recipe. First and foremost, thank you to everyone who came out and spoke with me and a special thanks to those that entered my contest. The contest was to collect contact information to grow my database and hopefully bring some referrals my way to launch my Real Estate business into the fast lane. If you would like to get in on the latest contests, giveaways, market information, festivals, and functions, be sure to follow my Facebook page to keep up with the latest info.
Let’s get to the fun part, you know I love to bake and what better way to get people to come and talk to you than offering my Famous Chocolate Chip Fudge Brownies. I call them my Famous Chocolate Chip Fudge Brownies, because once you try them you will definitely want to know the recipe, or ask when I’m making them again. These brownies are so decadent, so I cut them small, because a little goes a long way. My Famous Chocolate Chip Fudge Brownie recipe is so simple, you probably have all the ingredients at home already, so let’s get Baking.
Famous Chocolate Chip Fudge Brownies Recipe
Ingredients:
¾ cup salted butter melted (1 ½ sticks) note*
¾ cup all-purpose flour, measured correctly*
¾ cup Hershey’s cocoa powder
1 ½ cups sugar
3 eggs
1 cup Ghiradelli milk chocolate chips (or more 😉)
Directions:
Preheat the oven to 325°
Line a 9×13 pan with Parchment paper.
Melt the butter set aside, while butter is cooling, mix the dry ingredients together the flour, cocoa, and sugar. Pour in the butter and eggs and mix with a whisk until just combined do not over mix. (It’s okay for brownies to be lumpy.) Add the chocolate chips and gently fold in. Spread into pan lined with parchment paper. Bake for 25 minutes at 325°, insert a toothpick in a couple of different spots to make sure you’re not hitting a chocolate chip if it comes out clean they’re done.
Let cool completely if you attempt to cut them at this point they will fall apart. The key to the fudgy goodness of the brownies, is in the cooling. Trust me, this is the hardest part, I have cut them way to early many many times. (Okay I may cut them early every time!😅) If you cut into the brownies and the knife comes out wet, they have not set up completely. It’s best to let the brownies cool overnight if you can, and when you wake up you will have achieved the famous chocolate chip fudge brownie consistency!
*Note
Measured Correctly spoon the flour into the measuring cup and level with a knife. Do not scoop it out of the bag, I repeat do not scoop the flour. Reason is it packs more in and can totally destroy the consistency when you’re baking. I always use this method when baking.
If you do not have salted butter you can add in a 1/2 tsp of salt instead.
