WORK WORK WORK WORK (like Rihanna 😉)
I have been super busy trying to get my real estate career off the ground. There’s so much work that goes into it that I didn’t even realize. Not only do you have to study and pass the Realtor exam, there are tons of classes you need to attend to know what actually goes on in a real life situation. I have been busy taking them all in, because the more you know the more you grow, and I believe knowledge is power! On top of that you have to create business cards, marketing material, get your name out there, and pray for work. It’s all very exciting and overwhelming at the same time. I couldn’t be happier that I have made this leap, getting to spend more time with Brody is everything to me! What we have been up to!
We have been working, working out, and have been so busy lately, we haven’t had much time for fun. Blake and I decided to take Brody to Supercross, they were in Dallas this past weekend. We all had a blast! AT&T Stadium is gorgeous, and the home to my boys so it was fun to check it out. Brody is all boy and absolutely loved all of the motorcycle stuff. The racing even had me fully engaged, we saw some pretty gnarly pile ups that had the momma in me on the edge of my seat praying the boys were okay. Brody thinks he’s getting a dirt bike, and I’m just over here like… son please, your momma’s nerves can’t handle that! Overall, we had a blast and would definitely do it again. I’m going to work on a post for family date night ideas for the spring, because what’s better than spending the evening with the loves of your life, and seeing your little’s face light up with joy? I can’t think of anything!
I’ve covered work, I’ve covered fun, now, let’s get to the exciting stuff!
I like to weigh on Wednesday, because even if you made choices on the weekend that you wouldn’t normally make, by Wednesday your body has flushed out the toxins from that and it shouldn’t be reflected on the scale, unless you’ve majorly overdone it. Yesterday, was Weigh In Wednesday, and I’m down to 177.8! If you haven’t been following my story, I set a new goal for myself at the beginning of the year, I started at 185.8 on January 1st and want to get down to 160 by June 1st. I still have 17 lbs left to lose, time is flying by, and I’m getting a little nervous because March 1st is next week. Regardless, I’m so proud of the progress I have made, because I have been in maintenance mode since December of 2016 so getting this weight off has been hard work. I have been extremely dedicated, I have been doing two a days at the gym, cardio in the morning and weight training in the evenings with Blake, but the gym decided that I can’t take B anymore. 😩😠I may need to start looking into other options for my gym home, because it’s not realistic for parents to find someone every day to watch their child while they workout! Snap Fitness Ferris you need to re-think this or need to expand into the building next door and have a dedicated room for children to hang out while their parents workout. Call me I’m a Realtor, I can help you acquire the building next door or give you ideas how to have a dedicated spot for children in the space you already have.
